SHIPPING INFORMATION

Prior to this auction we had always offered in-house shipping to our successful bidders. Unfortunately this is no longer feasible for us due to the current Pandemic.

SHIPPING

Winning bidders are responsible for arranging their own shipping and we are happy to help facilitate this process. Local pickup from us at no charge is available. Please note that we assume no responsibility for acts or omissions in connection with packing or shipping by any third party packer/shipper, even if recommended by us.

We are unable to accept payment for the cost of shipping your won lot(s). Since we cannot ship for you, the shipping payment should be directed to your shipper. Payment for your won lot(s) should be directed to us.

PREFERRED SHIPPERS

UPS/USPS

If you wish to ship via UPS or the USPS we recommend contacting:

The UPS Store (#6120), 530 E. McDowell Rd. #107, Phoenix, AZ 85004; tel 602-258-1995; email: [email protected]. Hours (Arizona/Phoenix time): Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6:30pm, Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm.

As a courtesy to our winning bidders, the store offers discounts of 5% off of the shipping cost and 20% off of the packing cost for shipments made via UPS (no discounts apply to USPS shipments). The store has extensive experience shipping artwork, both within the USA and internationally. They will pick up your winnings from us and pack and ship them per your instructions. Shipments made via FedEx and DHL are not available.

DHL/FedEx (as well as UPS/USPS)

If you wish to ship via FedEx or DHL (as well as UPS/USPS) we recommend contacting:

  • Navis Pack & Ship, 5002 S. 40th St., Ste. L, Phoenix, AZ 85040; tel 480-354-7000; email: [email protected]. Contact: Brett or Nick. Hours (Arizona/Phoenix time): Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, closed Saturday and Sunday. They have experience shipping artwork, both within the USA and internationally. The store will pick up your winnings from us and pack and ship them per your instructions. Shipments made via all four carriers listed above are available.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

Upon request we would be pleased to provide names of additional packers/shippers in our area.

We strongly suggest that you contact a shipper or shippers of your choice prior to bidding. Each recommended shipper will be happy to provide you with a price quote or quotes to pack and ship the lot(s) in which you have a bidding interest.

All of the shippers listed above, in addition to providing packing and shipping services, will handle all related matters for you, including insurance, customs, claims if any, etc.

We do not recommend using FedEx Office for shipping as they do not furnish the full services that our recommended shippers supply.

Once you choose a shipper, please send an email to: [email protected] authorizing us to release your lot(s) to that shipper for packing and shipping. Without your email authorization we are unable to release your lot(s) to your shipper.

The Pandemic has severely restricted our response in the shipping arena, especially with our offering over 2,000 lots in three days of sales.

  1. We are unable to deliver your lot(s) to your chosen shipper. They must pick them up from us.
  2. We must have received your emailed authorization, mentioned above, before we are able to release your lots to your preferred shipper.
  3. Your lots will be released to your shipper for shipping no later than two business days after receipt of your full cleared payment, in accordance with the schedule following as #4, below.
  4. For any auction, the first date that any shipper will be able to pickup your lot(s) is the first Friday after the last day of the auction. On the following and subsequent weeks the pickup days are Tuesday and Thursday. We are unable to deviate from this schedule and we thank you for your understanding.

  6. It is incumbent upon the winning bidder or his representative to contact us regarding shipping of items. It is not the responsibility of SA to contact the winning bidder. Once your material is picked up by your outside shipper, we assume no responsibility for the shipment's arrival at its destination or its condition on arrival. We suggest you purchase insurance if available to cover any missing or damaged goods. If an insurance claim becomes necessary the bidder/receiver is responsible for follow-up with the shipping company.
